It's a new year! The last two weeks have been a wonderful time seeing old friends who are slightly taller smiling back at me (some proudly displaying missing teeth) as I greet them at this door for a new year of art classes. New friends have also arrived here ready to begin their adventures in art.
This door welcomes you, too. Come join in our artistic adventures . Marvel with me at the creativity, hard work, and enthusiasm of our students. I hope this blog becomes an open door into our classroom for you to enjoy and understand the artwork that is and will be created by Pine Glen students. Welcome! Bring a smock.

David: I like to use clay because you can make almost anything.

Thank you so much for your uplifting vision and for sharing your understanding and experience teaching children to look, see, feel, think, and do. Your work goes beyond teaching the "how to" of art to the inspiration and encouragement of artistic expression. I would love to have had you for my teacher-guide!!!
